In 2021, Chinese silk fabric merchant John Wang went to the UK to look for new opportunities. In Wales, UK, he met Jonathan Alkalay. When John and Jonathan talked about silk, a mysterious fabric that once came from the ancient countries of the East, it is still produced in a low-carbon and environmentally friendly way. Jonathan Alkalay immediately expressed interest in his silk business. He believed that the production method of mulberry silk was in line with his concept of sustainable development, and that mulberry silk has hypoallergenic, antibacterial and other properties that other fabrics cannot replace. The two people's ideas hit it off. In 2021, they co-founded the company MIDUDOG CO LTD in the UK and named the brand MDOG.
