Product

Silk removes unnecessary chemical additives from the process, It is a light breathable fabric that is hypoallergenic, thermoregulating and has a superior hand feel. At the same time, Mulberry silk has natural antimicrobial properties, so it's perf for sensitive skin. Plus, Silk helps your skin retain more moisture, which reduces wrinkles and fine lines that form as you snooze. Your skin has been proven to show fewer signs of aging when silk is used.

Silk is not to be confused with satin. Satin usually refers to synthetic and shiny materials but Mulberry silk is a non-synthetic natural raw material. Satin made from synthetic fibres is a cheap imitation of silk and its shine can often fool people into thinking it is silk and equivalent. The essence of mulberry silk is protein fiber, which has the function of regulating body temperature. Being essentially plastic, satin is very slippery, creates static electricity and reflects heat, so it's hot and uncomfortable.

Momme is an old imperial measurement indicating the weight of the silk. Momme, pronounced 'mom-ee', it’s similar to thread count with other fabrics - so the higher the momme, the thicker or heavier the silk, the more it drapes, the softer it feels and the longer it lasts. 22 momme silk has 30% more silk used than 14 momme, that's why it's more expensive. It is thicker with a tighter weave, is longer lasting and feels more luxurious.

Absolutely! MDOG's silk suppliers originate from southern China, a place that has been producing silk since more than 5,000 years ago. We select silks with thread count (22m), highest quality (6A) and ilac-MRA certified. We feel absolutely confident in our quality.

Of course! Considering different preferences and body types, we design different size adjustment methods for almost every product to make sure there is a product for everyone. Please feel free to contact us and suggest anything you don't see.

This depends on the product you are using and what ingredients it contains. Some facial products do not stain or get soaked up at all. To be on the safe side, we would recommend allowing 15-20 mins after application of your eye cream/gel/oil, in the evening before putting the mask on. By following the care instructions, (you available on our website) you can wash them too from time to time to keep them silky and clean!

Silk is recommended for sleep masks when you have eyelash extensions as the material is very light and soft. Also the strap that goes around your head is fully adjustable so there's no need to have it really tight on, so you can adjust it to fit your head and allow for your lashes too. We've never had any complaints about eyelash extensions so we’re confident to say that you should be fine! If after purchasing an eye mask you find for whatever reason that it doesn't work for you then you can return it to us within 30 days after receiving the package and we will refund you no questions asked!

We have spent a lot of energy with our product development team and manufacturers,make the front side is opaque and the eye mask fits the curve of the face to prevent light from leaking from the sides. To be able to make all of our masks, no matter the colour of the silk, close to 100% black-out.

As a natural material, pure silk is fully biodegradable. When a chemical-free silk product reaches the end of its life, it can decompose naturally, adding nutrients back into the soil without leaving harmful residues. We stand against pollutants to safeguard oceans and marine life with synthetic free silk, and chemical free dyes and fabrics.With a growing awareness about potential endocrine disruption and thyroid issues as the result of plastics in fabrics, our products are free from plastics and toxins that can impact your well-being. It’s about sustainability — for you and the planet.

Silk is hand wash and dry clean only.

1/ Cleaning:

ALWAYS use a ph neutral liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. Silk is a natural fibre and washing in a solution that’s too acidic or alkaline can cause the silk to harden in a single wash. If you can't find a detergent that specifies ph level then just go for one that specifies silk. Do not use bleach products.

First, soak the fabric in clean water for 3-5 minutes (the water temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius).

Secondly, replace the water and add the ph neutral liquid detergent to fully dissolve it before adding the fabric.

Gently massage the fabric for one minute to activate dirt removal and then leave to soak for the next four minutes. Rinse in fresh cold water.

2/ Drying:

Never wring silk out. Lay flat or hang in the shade until dry, away from the sun. Ironing is optional, remember to keep it on the lowest setting (often titled ‘silk’, for the rookies).

*Do not place silk products in tumble dryer.

3/ Storing:

A cool and dry place is always best for storage. Avoid direct sunlight. Neatly fold and store in your Mdog Sleepwear box.

*Do not clean frequently. It is recommended to clean once every 3-5 months..

Ordering

We process orders super quickly to ensure speedy delivery. If you need to cancel or modify your order, reach out to our customer service team ASAP. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, but we can't guarantee changes once an order has been processed. Because once your order is shipped, we cannot modify any content about the order.Email us support@sleepmdog.com and we'll get back to you either same day or next (depending on how popular the team is).

If you haven’t received an order confirmation email, there are several possible reasons:

1. Sometimes these can end up in your junk or spam folder so check there.

2. Maybe your order has not come through. You need to contact us and we'll help you check if your order is complete.

3. Please confirm whether your email address is filled in correctly. If you fill in the wrong email address, you will not be able to receive it. Contact us and we will change the correct email address and resend you an order confirmation email.

Shipping

Free shipping on orders greater or equal to $29, otherwise the cost of the shipping is $8.99.

We operate on the premise that our customers want their product as quickly as we do when we shop online i.e. ASAP! If you order before 2pm CST, we'll ship your order same day. For details, refer to our Shipping Policy page https://sleepmdog.com/policies/shipping-policy.

Once your order has been shipped, you'll get a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use this number to track your package.

Returns And Exchanges

1. Please request a return within 30 days upon reception.

2. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@sleepmdog.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you an instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2. There is only one chance to return and exchange, please confirm before returning

We will not pay for the shipping incurred during returns and exchanges, except for the item arrives damaged or faulty when delivered to you, the package lost or damaged, etc.

The restocking fee is 5% of the item's price.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. It may take 5-10 days after receiving the returned item/s.
